Warner Bros Japan releases official individual character posters for Rurouni Kenshin II: Kyoto Inferno in less than a month to go till it premieres, well, in Japan that is. Can’t say I am in love with the posters; it definitely could have been done better, but when it comes to this movie, I rather they give me a good quality movie than to fuss about the poster artworks and its quality.
There is also a TVCM that gives us a little more from what the previous trailer didn’t show, and then there’s some more promotional stills in HD, now can’t not share HD pictures, can I? 🙂
The long awaited live action sequel of Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno starring Satoh Takeru has released yet another preview trailer and we get more details into the storyline of the second installment. Needless to say, the preview looks really good and why in the world it only premieres in August?! For those who is new to Rurouni Kenshin, it is an upcoming Japanese film based on the famous shounen manga series of the same name. I would strongly recommend to watch the prequel first before taking up on this to get a better idea on the main character Himura Kenshin. The Japanese rock band One Ok Rock also returns with the theme song ‘Mighty Long Fall‘ for the sequel. Continue reading
The new teaser trailer to Satoh Takeru‘s movie sequel Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno is out and it looks absolutely AWESOME! Okay, the fact that I’ll be able to see more sword-fighting action scenes are in itself awesome enough but to see the actual trailer (longer version) couple with my favourite background music excite all the particles in my body and make the blood boils, hehehe!
Oh my god! So excited! I was never a fan of Rurouni Kenshin anima/manga but when I was introduced to the first Rurouni Kenshin live action movie released in 2012, I fell in love with it so when a sequel was being announced, I was thrilled! I wouldn’t say the movie has made me into such a huge fan that I’d go otaku on its anime and manga but I’d definitely tune in for the upcoming movies. The first one was very well set up, filmed and action packed. To me, Japanese movie always lack the punch as compared to J-drama but Kenshin delivered the punch (or maybe I always choose the wrong movies to watch shrugs).
What’s more exciting is that there are going to be TWO sequels. SCREAMMMMM. The teaser looks good already so if those of you who hasn’t seen the first, what are you waiting for? Chop! Chop! Pali! Hayaku! Go and grab a DVD (I recommend to watch it in high definition and big screen TV) NOW!
The two upcoming Rurouni Kenshin films based on the Kyoto Arc entitled “Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire Arc” and “Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend Arc” are both slated to have summer 2014 release.
