The Kings of CF: Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun

Following the success of The Heirs and My Love From The Stars (also known as You Who Came From the Stars), both Lee Min Ho and Kim Soo Hyun have become the most sought out Korean male artists for many large companies’ brand model, ambassador, spokeperson, or endorser (what’s the difference?) in their home country and overseas i.e. China. I must say I am really shocked at the news being released one after another regarding their new contract of endorsements. I did a little digging and calculations of the total of CFs both men now endorse, and it comes to a rather shocking number. I have a feeling it is still increasing! *dizzy*

[Fashion] Lee Min Ho’s Airport Fashion 2014

A new year means a whole new fashion post for Lee Min Ho. If you are interested in his Airport Fashion 2013, please proceed to ➡ HERE.

I think so far so good with his fashion choices in 2014. Early half of 2014, I can see that Lee Min Ho still retain a bit of Kim Tan in him and that reflect on his fashion; especially in public activities (but not so much in airport fashion). However, as he took on the role of Kim Dae Jong in Gangnam Blues and with summer visiting, he’s dressing a lot more casual and is seen completely shed off the Kim Tan’s curse of funny fashion style. I am happy to announce that uri Min Hot is now back to the Lee Min Ho I once knew, who dresses “normally”. \(^0^)/ HAHAHA~

It really helps that the VIP minoz are all professional photographers now; it’s satisfying to see high quality pictures shared so we can study his fashion sense from head to toe.

Awesome Teasers for The Three Musketeers & More Stills!

tvN releases yet another teaser trailer for The Three Musketeers, and this time featuring an all characters version. One word: Daebak! Well, at least for me… 🙂

The teaser starts off with Lee Jin Wook all calm and prince-like with his men protecting him, and then we see Jung Yong Hwa sword-fighting on the table while the other two Musketeers – Yang Dong Geun & Jung Hae In fight off enemies on the ground. We also get a few glances of the ladies – Yoo In Young and Seo Hyun Jin in the teaser, and I absolutely love what I see… ❤

While all 3 boys being super badass kicking arses on the sideline, the Crown Prince Seohyeon slices a man to save his wife, Yoon Seo. Meanwhile another woman, Jo Mi Ryung watches with sadness from afar. It’s difficult to completely interpret what the short teaser is trying to convey, but we can pretty much sense their feelings, and the dynamics around these characters.

Park Hae Jin & Kim Sang Joong Ready to Kick Ass in ‘Bad Guys’

I really shouldn’t get excited about this pairing just by looking at the script rehearsal stills of upcoming OCN drama, Bad Guys (literal title). > <” But it’s hard not to, because it’s Kim Sang Joong and Park Hae Jin.

Bad Guys is screen-write by Han Jung Hoon, who previously wrote Vampire Prosecutor Season 1 and 2. I’m not familiar with him or his previous work, but I’ve heard about the drama, and I was not motivated to try it out. Perhaps someone who has seen both seasons can give me a 101 on how well this screen writer is with his ‘writing’. I can only hope Park Hae Jin doesn’t crash and burn again with ANOTHER badly written drama. Jaebal ~

Doctor Stranger

Doctor Stranger is a 2014 medical drama starring rising star Lee Jong Suk; forever second lead Park Hae Jin; beautiful Kang So Ra and fairly new and young actress Jin Se Yeon. The drama garners attention not only because of the main casts, but also the supporting casts such as Kim Sang Joong, Chun Ho Jin, Kim Sang Ho, Choi Jung Woo etc. and famous director, Jin Hyuk, who has previously directed a few popular dramas.

I think what lure me to try out this drama is definitely the love I have for Lee Jong Suk. He was great in School 2013 and I Hear Your Voice, so I anticipated more good stuff from him. I also like Park Hae Jin because who doesn’t love Lee Hwi Kyung in My Love From The Stars? Then there is Jin Hyuk who directed one of my favourite dramas – City Hunter, and because of him, the ahjussi actors from City Hunter also joined the show. I definitely couldn’t say no anymore once I found out Kim Sang Joong will make the guest appearance, too!

Lee Jin Wook Looking Almighty in The Three Musketeers Teaser

After swooning over the dashing Jung Yong Hwa as hero Park Dal Hyang last night, I am now abusing the replay button for Crown Prince Lee Jin Wook in the short teaser from The Three Musketeer. ❤ Both teasers look so good! Lee Jin Wook looks amaaazing! The costume, the lighting to the colours, and the visual. Charismatic characters stills have been released for both characters too.

One word to describe this all: A-W-E-S-O-M-E.

The Three Musketeers is scheduled to air on a Sunday night, August 17. Continue reading

A New Leaf

A New Leaf was a gift from drama god when I was in search for good dramas; there was a lack of gripping dramas during those times, and I was dying for something good. I hadn’t planned on watching this one when it was first announced, or when the trailers were released. I wasn’t enthuasiatic about it; mainly because I wasn’t interested in Kim Myung Min, or the storyline. I also thought it would be extreeeeemely melodramatic. Boy, was I so wrong!

Seriously, I am glad I pick this drama up and gave it a chance. I love the dynamics between the actors! The show has great, solid main casts; they all gave a well-balanced and stable performance. Kim Sang Joong was absolutely awesome in his role. Oh Jung Se once again made a deep impression in his supporting role and lastly, Kim Myung Min – how he portrayed a wooden, dull, monotonous and expressionless person into a multi-faceted, and layered character so interesting to watch is beyond me – *clap* *clap* *clap*

Adorable Chef Couple Jasper Liu & Puff Guo on SPOP 華流

Omo omo omo! How cute (and a bit sexy) are these photos of Jasper Liu and Puff Guo, taken for July edition of Chinese magazine SPOP 華流 (Hua Liu)? These two are currently working together in a Friday night drama named Love Myself, or You? (also known as Pleasantly Surprised).

The couple’s chemistry is pretty natural and visually, they match well; it makes it really easy to like them as an OTP. And then of course, we are also lucky to score two well written characters (well, so far). Hence, I really like what I see in this photoshoot, which is filled with cuteness and oozes a bit of sensuality between the two. It’s a much straight forward photoshoot as compared to June’s edition, featuring Aaron Yan and Tia Li on the cover (Link 1 and 2), as I find theirs were really creative, new and artistic.

Witch’s Lover Park Seo Joon in HIGH CUT

If you have seen Witch’s Romance, you would understand what’s so alluring about this 25 years old boy/man named Park Seo Joon. He plays Um Jung Hwa’s love interest in the drama, and successfully win many girls’ hearts in the process. Or should I say Noona’s hearts?

Some people may have already discovered him since Dream High 2, Family, I Summon You, Gold, Drama Festival or One Warm Word, but If you haven’t, then it’s never too late to check this sweet boy out in his latest drama. The drama isn’t fantastic (to me), but he’s definitely one of the gems in the show. 😀

However, this boy has completely transform into a mature man with yummy-li-cious abs in July issue of High Cut. Oh la la~ let’s all take a look at that fine abs, shall we? Continue reading

[J-Movie] Rurouni Kenshin II Releases Character Posters & TVCM
Warner Bros Japan releases official individual character posters for Rurouni Kenshin II: Kyoto Inferno in less than a month to go till it premieres, well, in Japan that is. Can’t say I am in love with the posters; it definitely could have been done better, but when it comes to this movie, I rather they give me a good quality movie than to fuss about the poster artworks and its quality.

There is also a TVCM that gives us a little more from what the previous trailer didn’t show, and then there’s some more promotional stills in HD, now can’t not share HD pictures, can I? 🙂

Fated to Love You Releases 2 More Interesting Teasers

MBC new drama Fated to Love You releases two new teaser trailers, outlining clearer to us how the drama story will start out, and also introduce the four major characters starring Jang Hyuk, Jang Nara, Choi Jin Hyuk and Wang Ji Won. From the trailers, it does look like the start of the story will be 90% similar to the original; I do like what I see in terms of visual, and how all four of them fit into their individual characters.

The official posters are also out, although I have to say I am unsure what the concept of it supposed to represent for two of the posters (e.g. above) – why is Nara hanging off in the air? A gift from heaven to Jang Hyuk?
